Using International Expertise to Provide Localized Solutions
​WMA - International SOS Joint Venture Inc. was created through an equitable partnership between Wskijinu'k Mtmo'taqnuow Agency Ltd., The Assembly of Nova Scotia Mi'kmaq Chiefs, and International SOS Medical Services Canada. This Joint Venture is committed to recognizing the unique healthcare challenges the Mi'kmaq community faces and delivering customized solutions to these needs. We aim to enhance the local healthcare infrastructure, provide specialized training for our healthcare professionals, and implement culturally sensitive programs like training and employment initiatives for Indigenous community members.

WMA - International SOS (through International SOS Medical Services Canada) works alongside various industries in the Atlantic region to provide Integrated Healthcare and Emergency Services at remote worksites.
